A 3-year manufacturers’ warranty comes as standard on all our shutters and blinds. A 3 year warranty is also offered on our workmanship on installations.

We provide a 3 year warranty on our installation services, commencing from the day of installation. This does not include damage that occurs to installations as a result of structural problems.

We apply a set of acceptable standard guidelines as part of our standard terms and conditions:

Defects or imperfections on the window finishing (e.g. blemishes, marks, stains) should not be visible from 1+ meters away in daylight. This does not include sun fading or discolouring on dark colours.
Slight variations between sample colours and finished products.
Slight variations on natural wood finish or colour compared to samples.

Lika Shutters and Blinds commit to repair or replace* defective products. Where possible, identical replacements will be provided. In the event an identical product is not available, we will consult with the customer to install a replacement of similar value. *Decision to repair or replace is at the sole discretion of Lika Shutters and Blinds.

We commit to considering customer claims and carrying out the repair or replacement work as soon as conveniently possible for both parties.

No. Lika Shutters and Blinds accept no responsibility for accidental damage, neglect, deliberate damage or misuse. The customer can choose to cover for these scenarios with separate insurance policies.

Please send claims under this warranty to claims@likashuttersblinds.com.au within seven (7) days of installation. Lika Shutters and Blinds must be allowed to assess the product prior to commencement of repairs or replacement. The customer must provide proof of purchase and installation.

No, the original start date still applies.

Yes, painting your shutters or blinds nullifies the warranty.

This Warranty contains the only representations offered by Lika Shutters and Blinds. Any other warranties or representations whether expressed or implied by any legislation or otherwise, specifically the Trade Practices Act 1974 and the Sale of Goods Act 1923, are hereby excluded to the extent permitted by law.

To source the best quality products, some are imported from overseas. Our lead times are generally:

Blinds: 3 weeks
Shutters: 6-8 weeks

Although we endeavour to avoid delays as much as possible, Lika Shutters and Blinds reserve the right to change delivery times for the following reasons:

Periods of high demand
Stock availability
Delivery/logistics issues or postal strikes
Customs delays
Public holidays

Yes, you pay a 50% deposit on purchase and acceptance of our terms and conditions.

The balance needs to be paid and funds cleared into our bank by the day of installation.

You can choose from the following payment methods:

That depends on the stage of your order and the product you have chosen. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your concerns. Our products are custom made, so refunds can only be honoured within 24 hours of the order being placed. For cancellations made outside this period the deposit is not refundable.

All our products are bound by the Australian safety standards. Child-safe locks are fitted as standard within our blinds. Motorised options can also be made on request (subject to extra charges) to nullify the need for cords or pull chains.
